Il Casalino is a renovated colonial house located in the heart of the Val d’Orcia, near Pienza (Siena) : a place where the good old rural traditions are still strong.
The Agriturismo is part Farmhouse il Casalino, which has been property of the Petri family since the beginning of the 19th Century and where the Petri family has been producing olive oil and wine for decades.
Il Casalino follows the typical architectonic structure of the farmhouses belonging to peasant families, it has been recently renovated with great care and in respect of the original building materials ( wood, floor in terracotta tiles and stone).
